Prop Rod Kit

Our Trunk Prop Kit features an automatic pop-open latch and manual close. It includes a machined 1/2” diameter tube,  5/16” stainless steel rod with latch and hardware included. This assembly is not recommended as a hood prop due to the weight of the hood. The open tube/rod has two positions that must be set upon installation. Closed tube/rod length is 13”. The minimum open position length is 19 1/2” and it can be opened to a maximum of 21 1/2”. Recommended for use on early cars.
